Dr. Melinda Hall is always committed to her patient’s health and well-being. She is monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) daily as we know this is a rapidly changing environment. We are following the best practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure a safe environment to best serve the needs of our patients.
I wanted to let you know the precautions that my staff and myself are taking to keep everyone healthy and safe during this time.
Protecting You From Others:
*If you have any of the COVID-19 symptoms, (abrupt fever, dry cough, overwhelming fatigue or increasing shortness of breath) you should consult your Primary Care Physician. This is not the appropriate time to come to my office.
*If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are in self-quarantine, please do not come to our office until you have completed the 14-day quarantine.
*I understand this might mean you may need to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, there will be no penalty.
*To control how much exposure you have to others, you are welcome to wait in your car until your treatment room is available. This way you can go directly into the treatment room when you walk into the office. If this is something you would like to do, please let the front desk know how to reach you when your treatment room is ready.
*You may wait in our office. However, the front desk staff will work to keep you separated by the recommended 6 feet.
*If you have a copay or coinsurance at the time of service, you can pay through our website to facilitate leaving the office in an efficient manner.
Environmental Cleaning Instituted:
*Hourly disinfection and cleaning of the front office and waiting room area.
*Disinfection and cleaning of the treatment room including table, door handles, and chairs before each patient session.
*Frequent disinfection and cleaning of common space areas including door handles, armrests, and high-touch areas.
*Front office staff will sign each patient to avoid shared pen usage.
*Mints, eyeglasses, newspapers, and magazines are no longer offered.
*Hand sanitizer is readily available in common areas and treatment rooms.
*We will continue to wash and sanitize hands regularly and before each patient is seen.
*The building is increasing the frequency of sanitizing door handles and common spaces.
*I have made these changes to ensure a safe and healthy environment in our office. We thank you for helping us prevent the spread of infection.
Additional Information to Keep You Healthy:
*Wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds especially after being in public space, blowing your nose, or sneezing.
*Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
*If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
*Cough and sneeze either into your elbow or a tissue. Wash/sanitize hands afterward and throw used tissues into the trash.
*Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
*Put distance between you and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your area.
*Stay home if you are sick.
